the other day i was like: hmm... i think ill try to draw a more realistic penguin, instead of the cartoonish ones i usually do. or at least draw an actual penguin..

so, as the title indicates, this is a King penguin and its baby. not to be confused with an emperor penguin - theyre different.

i really wish my computer would let me draw bigger pictures. these small ones are not as fun. but with this one i think i only had to restart my computer.. 12 ish times. ><

eh, maybe that wasnt the right word. they look less like snowmen and more like a recognizable species. or something

It looks good, what did you use to draw it?
You actually know the difference between different types of penguins..? Hardcore penguin fan, or are you a researcher or something?

:) thanks. i used photoshop 7.0 - lots of pen tool really.
and haha yea i know the differences between most kinds of penguins - i guess i could be called something of a hardcore fan. theyre just really neat.

oh and i totally love your sheep.

Why do you live in the north or something? How often do you get to actually see penguins O.o

:) no. i live in arizona. i see penguins... not often. actually maybe about once a year. there are some in a zoo near here. but theyre the warm-weathered kind.. i like the cold type better

Penguins don't live in the Northern Hemisphere, they're only in the Southern Hemisphere.
Btw cute picture. Nice to know some other people can tell Emperors and Kings apart. ^^
